We are a sustainable interior design product company based in Seattle since 1961. We are looking for a woodworker in our workroom to produce fine interior products (lighting and tabletop decor items) who is detail and service-oriented. There is no heavy lifting in this position and we are looking for someone who has experience with:
- Woodturning
- Cutting and shaping
- Fine wood finishing
- General mechanical skills in assembly
You will be working with beautiful materials and designs in a well-equipped workroom and a challenging while highly supportive environment. If you are looking to learn a lot in woodworking skills and see your handy work shine with the finished products, and to grow your skills both in trade and in business, we would love to talk to you.
This position is open to students of local technical colleges as a fully paid internship and we are flexible with hours. Pay will be $30+ per hour depending on skills and experience.
