We are a locally owned business, focused on providing local commercial and industrial customers with quality paint/powder finishes to meet end customer needs. We’re excited to be adding a Powder Coater to our team.

Our company services all types of local manufacturers and as a result we have work of all shapes and sizes, often requiring the use of a forklift and/or other material handling equipment to safely handle and move. Forklift experience is a plus.

We are looking for a powder coater. Your job would be a full-time position in our powder coating department. You would be responsible for prepping, coating, and finishing parts with precision in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety and production standards.

Daytime hours with overtime opportunity. Must be flexible with reliable transportation.

Job Responsibilities

Apply powder coating to metal and other surfaces with precision and efficiency.

Prep parts for powder coating, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and plugging as required.

Hang parts with proper spacing and select appropriate hooks to ensure full coverage and optimal line flow.

Operate in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining attention to quality and safety.

Unrack and inspect finished parts, stacking them carefully to prevent scratches, dents, or other damage.

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of spray equipment to ensure consistent application and prevent contamination.

Work as part of a team to meet production goals and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Follow all safety procedures and quality standards throughout the coating process.

Recent powder coating experience is required.

Basic Qualifications

Dependable with strong work ethic.

Ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools and equipment.

Strong communication and organization skills.

Must be able to communicate effectively using verbal and written English.

Basic reading skills.

Forklift experience is a plus.

Able to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.

Must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch during your shift.

Able to communicate and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere.

Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Maintain schedule and tasks despite interruptions.

Reliable transportation.

Bilingual is a plus.

Be able to take direct feedback on work performance and adjust as necessary.
