The Position: We are seeking to fill a Plumber position. We are looking for someone to perform the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems for SHA For additional information on the job, please see the full posting.

The ideal candidate has:

High school education or GED as required by union apprenticeship program

Completing of a plumbing apprenticeship program or general training and experience as a maintenance plumber

Washington state driver’s license with an insurable driving record

What will you do?

Install, replace, service, and repair a variety of residential and commercial plumbing, including hot water heaters, sinks, lavatories, toilets, urinals, and connecting piping, traps, sewers, etc.

Answer service calls

Accurately record material usage and complete maintenance work orders

Maintain an adequate supply of replacement parts

Assist in a program of instructing residents in the care of plumbing systems

Perform work during off hours and on call as necessitated by job or emergency calls
