Position: Plateroom Production / Mounting Job Description:
Reports to: Production Manager
Duties included, but are not limited to
Utilize software system to batch jobs by material type
Proces flexographic printing plates from start to finish
Imaging of raw photopolymer
Exposing to UV light
Developing the exposed printing plate
Drying and post-finishing
Applying mounting tape
Operating the CAD cutting table,
Preparing mounting backing material,
Precision-mounting the plates onto the backing materials.
Will be expected to participate in inventory control and shop cleanliness.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Shift times: 6:am to 2:30pm or 2:30pm to 11:pm (must be able to work either shift).
Experience within the flexographic printing industry a plus!
