Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer/Laborer to join our dynamic team at A-1 Landscaping and Construction, Inc. As a Pipelayer/Laborer, you will play a critical role in the installation and maintenance of underground utility pipelines, contributing to our commitment to excellence in construction projects located in various environments.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain piping systems for water, sewage, and drainage.
Ensure proper alignment and grade of pipes using tools such as pipe lasers.
Collaborate with other construction personnel to complete projects efficiently.
Conduct utility locating to avoid damage during excavation.
Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing areas for pipe installation.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Perform routine inspections on installed pipes to ensure functionality.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years proven experience as a Pipelayer/Laborer or similar role in construction.
Strong knowledge of deep sewer, storm and waterline systems and utility installation techniques.
Experience reading plans, performing layout and ability to a pipe laser and calculate the elevations.
Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid Driver's License
Pre-employment drug test
Ability to lift 80lbs
Pay - Prevailing Wage - $66.42 - $67.56
