Hammer & Hand is seeking a site lead carpenter / site supervisor to join its Seattle team. Successful candidates are goal-driven, well organized, outside-the-box problem solvers with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage a team and at least 10 years of experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of general contractor and carpentry experience, or ability to demonstrate comparable skill level.
5+ years in an on-site project management role.
Experience with high-end remodel and new home projects.
Management of multiple trades such as plumbing, electric, HVAC, etc.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
Must have full selection of tools to perform the work.
High level of accuracy and pride in your craft.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Ability to multitask.
Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
Well organized with a keen attention to detail.
Basic computer skills.
Proof of Vaccination (or documented medical exemption).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Experience with cutting-edge building practices and high performance building.
Ability to use project management software.
