Position Summary:
A journeyman electrician works independently to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems. They are expected to be able to read blueprints, direct teams, communicate with clients, and ensure all jobs are completed per specifications. Main job duties involve making repairs and troubleshooting issues.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Solid working knowledge of residential electrical systems
Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams and follow specifications
Able to work independently and direct a team
Proficient with the National Electric Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection
Administration (NFPA) codes and regulations pertaining to electrical installation
Keep accurate log of daily work activities
Experience and Required Skills:
5+ years continuous electrical experience
1+ years project lead (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent required
WA state licensed journeyman electrician required
Valid driver’s license required and clean driving record last three years
Exceptional leadership and coaching skills
Clean drug test
