Job Title: Journeyman Diesel Technician / Mechanic

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Pay: $32.00 -$45.00 per hour DOE

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service. This position requires working well with other team members, but also the ability to work alone in a variety of environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot diesel engines, generators and related systems.

Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on diesel engines and machinery.

Inspect and test components to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.

Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Provide service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repair and maintenance needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed. Some travel is required.
