A journeyman is someone that knows the trade from start to finish… from scraper to final coat. Someone who can trouble shoot a crappy subfloor or walls that “aren’t straight”. A journeyman is a the kind of worker that comes in puts on their music and gets to work. They don’t need to ask questions cause they know what to do. Give them a work ticket, the materials and a job site and let them be. We are looking for those hardwood guys. The ones that love the craft. Still enjoy the smell of wood and seeing their work at the end of the day. Hardwood flooring is a dying trade. Those of you that know how to sand and finish- are few and far.
