Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual for a flexible position that combines shop assembly and general labor. This part-time or full-time role involves tasks in woodworking, finishing (staining), warehousing, and loading trucks.
It’s a dynamic job—some days involve a variety of tasks, while others may focus on a single project/task with repetitive work. You might spend one day assembling products in the shop, and the next finishing or loading items for delivery outside, or even both in the same day. It is certainly not a "clock in and zone out" type of role.
If you like working with your hands, learning new skills, and staying active in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit.
Duties :
- Assist with the preparation and organization of materials.
- Simple assembly work using pneumatic tools including : boxes, trellises, and other garden/outdoor products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Finish (spray/stain) and put away finished products.
- Help to load trucks for delivery.
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in hand tools (pneumatic tools, tape measure, etc.).
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and retain information.
- Physical ability to lift and move items 80+ lbs.
- Relevant experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train motivated candidates.
