The ideal candidate will be someone who is interested in growing their skill sets as well as sharing their knowledge with a team-oriented company. This position will require a hardworking, professional, efficient, and driven individual who is a self starter. Must be comfortable with installing doors, frames, hardware, restroom accessories, casework, various finishes in commercial construction. as a reputable, high-quality general contractor, we expect all team members to have a high standard for safety, performance efficiency, and the want to be a part of a team environment.

Responsibilities and Skills:

a) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, cutsheets, diagrams, etc.

b) Assisting foreman/superintendent in the planning, layout, and installation of carpentry projects.

c) Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, and other casework.

d) Installation of door hardware including locksets, closures, thresholds, door sweeps, push/pull plates, etc.

e) Installation of baseboards, door trims, and stair railings.

f) Building temporary handrails, site ladders, walk ways, etc.

g) Building shelves and other storage solutions.

h) Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment pertaining the task.

i) Good verbal and written communication skills.

j) Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.

k) Organized with good time management skills.

l) Ability to be proactive and not reactive with materials and needed resources.

m) Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.

n) Ability to work alone or collaborate with others.

Your Rewards:
