Looking for Stability and full time work?

Strictly Tile is a growing company that has been working in the Seattle area for the past 15+ years. We focus solely on tile installations. Additional work and repairs are referred to reliable specialized contractors. Our methods and systems allow for an easier life, structure, less stress and stability. We are working on creating a community of highly talented installers that can respect and support each other.

Below is what we are looking for in a candidate. Specific skills and traits can be learned.

-15 plus years experience. We do not like to micromanage. We are looking for candidates that feel comfortable and enjoy full control and management of their project.

- Mastery and a history of installing materials such as mosaic up to jumbo size tiles.

- Layouts - With difficult installations such as continuous mosaic patterns from one wall to the next. Understanding how the prep work needs to be completed to make this happen seamlessly is imperative.

- We estimate our projects based on the fact that our installers will be able to quickly assess and execute the correct layout in a timely manner.

- Familiarity with water-proofing systems such as Schluter products. Schluter certification is a plus. Schluter products, although a bit cumbersome at first, offers one of the best product warranties on the market.

CLEANLINESS, COMMUNICATION, TIMELINESS

Cleanliness - Our customers such as our contractors require cleanliness and orderliness. Cleanliness expands into your vehicle and orderliness of your tools. This is a must. We can help get you there but it is something that has to be maintained. If you take pride in this, you'll fit right in.

Communication - Excellent communication skills are also a must. This ties into project management. Communication is of utmost importance for the success of a project. If a homeowner can not understand you or you cannot relay an issue or change order over the phone. This ends up requiring a site visit which is a waste of valuable time. This creates uncertainty and unnecessary confusion for the homeowner.

Timeliness - To create trust and a stable team. We need to be able to rely on you 100% of the time. Showing up on time and ready to work is an important first step in creating this. There is no better way or easier way for us to build confidence in you than by just showing up at the agreed time. This also builds trust and confidence with a homeowner which is of utmost importance.

THE LITTLE THINGS:

- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.

- A phone that is no older than 3-4 years. You’ll need to be able to take clear pictures, scan receipts, facetime and access standard apps such as T-sheets which is our timecard system.

- Reliable COVERED vehicle. You will be responsible for picking up materials such as tile, backer-board and thinset. A canopy or enclosed vehicle is required.

-Pay ranges from $40+. Pay is calculated based on your skill and knowledge of the systems that we use. If you are not familiar with the products or techniques that we use. We will start you out at a lower rate with raises set in place once you are familiar and have mastered these techniques.
