The carpenter role is responsible for performing construction duties, analyzing blueprints and specifications, completing the project within the agreed timeframe, and maintaining materials with the budget goals, ensuring the highest quality and client’s satisfaction.

Able to work independently and interface professionally with homeowners & subcontractors, under the supervision of the project manager or company owner

Impeccable attention to detail-with the ability to read and execute on blueprints with accuracy and skill

Knowledge of framing, siding, installation, painting, drywall, framing, plumbing and how all trades are interconnected

Experience with professional basic carpenter hand and power tools including table saw, miter saw, planer, router, sanders

Be able to work independently or with a team on projects

Ability to stay on budget with the set bid pricing.

Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, execute and creatively solve problems on projects, under the supervision of upper management.

Oversee multiple projects from start to finish with an eye for detail & driving cost reduction when possible while not compromising customer satisfaction

Read blue prints and specifications, measure and cut with accuracy and skill

Oversee the work of laborers & subcontractors to complete project goals

Preplan for needed materials a day or even a week ahead. Pickup materials or have them delivered

Destruction

Maintain a clean job site

Oversee site set up and tear down

Submit proper receipts and paperwork (such as time cards, change orders, collecting contracts deposits)

Keep client files up to date with clear notes in Houzz

Communicate with clients as a professional representative of the company

Attend team meetings

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

3 years of remodeling experience

Lift 65 lbs + safely

Have your own tools

Reliable vehicle

Schedule: 40 hours/week
