Cascade Ecology is seeking applicants for the following positions:
Ecological Landscape Construction, Crew Member (Starting Pay: $30-34 per hour DOE)

Ecological Landscape Construction, Lead / Foreman
(Starting Pay: $36-40 per hour DOE)
These are dynamic and rewarding positions that require the development of skills in multiple trades and fields, particularly carpentry, landscaping, hardscaping, horticulture, and local ecology. The job requires physical labor, intelligence, and responsibility. Hard work and professionalism are both necessary and rewarded. A competitive candidate will have 3+ years experience in one or more of the trades or fields listed above, and a genuine interest in learning the rest.

Job Details
1. Full Time 42.5 paid hours per week (all breaks paid)
Full time schedule is M-F 9am-5:30pm
1. Crew Member: Starting Wage $30-34 per hour, dependent on experience and relevant skills. 2 weeks annual paid sick leave and 1 week paid vacation. Paid breaks. Position growth up to $38/hour
1. Crew Lead / Foreman: Starting Wage $34-40 per hour, position growth up to $45 per hour
1. Wage increases after 6 months based on performance reviews. Additional annual PTO after 1 year performance review.

1. Work primarily consists of
1. Landscape Construction, including:
Construction of decks, patios, fences, structures, retaining walls, drainage, gardens, trails, and more.
1. Habitat Restoration, including
Blackberry and noxious weed control, native plant rain garden construction, garden installation and maintenance, willow live stake collection, native plant nursery maintenance.
1. Desired or Required Skills:
1. Carpentry, hardscaping, landscaping, power tool use, heavy machinery use
2. Habitat restoration, plant identification, noxious weed control, experience with gardening/landscaping work.
3. Comfortable in rough terrain and bushwhacking, comfortable with physical work, outside in (almost) all conditions, year round. Must have your own transportation and be reliable in timing.
1. Crew members will be supervised by a foreman and/or site supervisor.
2. Foremen/leads will be supervised by a Site Supervisor and/or Project Manager
1. Work sites are throughout King County, and most are within 30 minutes of Issaquah.
