Hello, my name is Jason with All-Sheild Pest Control and Crawlspaces. We are a small business looking for an employee who can start soon as possible. I am looking for an enthusiastic individual who is up for the everyday challenges of this job. We are looking for someone up-beat and positive as you will also be working on a team, so being able to cooperate, be a team player and get along with your fellow co-workers is a must.
I'll be blunt and say this is a very tough job. The requirements are working in a nasty crawlspace that's full of Rodent feces and smells disgusting. The crawlspace is under the home which is typically a dark and cramped space. While in the crawlspace you will come across live or dead rats or mice. There are usually also tons and tons of Spiders among other insects.
On Occasion we do run into Racoons, Possums or Ferrel Cats. If you have phobias of any of these pests or claustrophobia (afraid of dark tight spaces) This is NOT the job for you. These are the everyday conditions of the job. Some crawlspaces are very tight, and you may have to work on your belly the entire time.
This position is also for the Driver, if you DON'T have a valid Driver's License this job isn't for you.

- We also take care of the insulation in Attics and for walls.
- Since we do Pest Control as well. We provide exclusion work for clients and build them Rodent proof Crawlspace doors, light concrete work to fill in Rodent burrows or larger holes and fix their vents.
Typical daily job tasks.
Drive - Pick up /Drop off Truck - You will be driving to Kent a lot to pick up material so you will be dealing with early mornings and traffic on a regular.
- Removing Insulation and Vapor Barrier that's contaminated by Rodents.
- Sanitizing the crawlspace
- Installing new Insulation and laying down new Vapor Barrier.
- We replace Flex Ducts as well.
- Exclusion work - Building Crawlspace doors, light concreting, fixing vents.
