Cat 6 & Fiber Optic Technician
We are an established Cabling & IT Contractor in Renton, currently seeking an experienced technical installer to work primarily in King, Pierce & Snohomish counties. Our doors are now open for welcoming in a new member to our team of professionals.

Applicants must possess a WA State L & I 06 electrical Trainee or Journeyman card as part of the position (We can help you get licensed). Experience with Cat 6 cable installation, terminating & testing is preferred. Experience with fiber optics, networking & data room build outs even better.
Never Pay for Commute Gas Again. Drive one of our company trucks and fill it with a company credit card to drive to and from work every day. After 90 days we provide you with a company vehicle to drive to & from the job each day. We pay for all maintenance, repairs and washes as needed to keep it running and looking good.
Our headquarters is in Renton, but technicians are typically dispatched from home, via internet / VPN interface to company server(s). All supplies such as cable, jacks, patch panels, etc. are provided by company, to be kept as "truck stock" for ongoing work.
We follow BICSI standards closely and are proud of our reputation for being a quality cabling contractor that can also handle telephones, Local Area Networks, wireless, paging systems and A/V systems at the same time. Let us know if you possess any of these added skills that may also be of benefit.
Skills Required:
Voice & Data cabling skills, including Cat 5e / Cat 6 is preferred. Fiber & Coax skills a plus
Ability to work unsupervised is ideal but new trainees will be supervised as needed
Strong troubleshooting skills & ability to communicate well with support team & supervisor(s)
Must have own hand tools, including cell phone & common telephony tools.
Tech must be proficient with submitting paper work, pictures & receipts daily via VPN
We issue some tools such as Laptop, P Touch Labeler, Portable Printer / Scanner (including ink & paper), Ladder, USB Internet Stick & Access to a variety of power tools, splicers & testing equipment.
We pay competitive wages every week, 7paid holidays & 10 PTO days off. We contribute $30 per month to your personal cell phone, as you will need to use it as part of the job. All technicians will be issued a company van or truck (to be driven to & from home). Gas cards are provided for all issued company vehicles.
