Experienced Carpenter for Residential Construction
We are a residential remodeling company in the Tacoma area specializing in bathroom and kitchen remodels. We are looking for a skilled carpenter with a minimum of 4 yrs experience.
Pay will be $25-$40/hr DOE. We love a good work life balance, so we typically only work 4 days a week. Most of the time we only work 30-35 hours a week and I pay my employees for 40. As long as the projects are getting done, everyone's happy. Since we do whole home remodels if needed, a general knowledge of the entire construction process is preferable. While not necessary, experience dealing with clients/customers is also good.
Requirements include:
Have reliable transportation
Have enough skill to be able to be put on tasks and finish them without supervision and minimal direction
Have good knowledge of power tools
Perform any task given to them with a good attitude (there may be days your just scrapping out a jobsite)
Experience with general carpentry (rough and finish) including interior detailing such as drywall patch repair, finish carpentry, tile work, caulking, door and trim work, light electrical, light plumbing is a plus.
MUST have a good work ethic which includes a generally good attitude
Able to be cordial and accommodating to neighbors
Able to perform basic labor task such as working a full 8 hour day although very rare with us as long as the work gets done.
