Island Grown Farmers Cooperative is looking for a Butcher for our new on-site USDA-inspected livestock processing center located in Burlington, WA. We are a member cooperative and provide slaughter and meat processing services for our local farmers. We harvest and process beef, pork, lamb and goat. We would prefer some experience in 2 or 3 of the following areas and are willing to train in the other areas:
Humane animal handling
Stunning
Bleeding
Skin and head removal
Evisceration
Splitting
