Local music store has an opening for a qualified repair tech with the ability to work on both brass and woodwind instruments. We are a medium sized independent Music Store in Olympia WA. You would be the only tech on staff, and as such you can determine your own schedule.
Basic knowledge of string instruments a plus. In addition to customer repairs, our tech maintains the store fleet of rental instruments.
Two or more years of experience in the field or a diploma from accredited repair school is required.
Practical experience is a plus, but not necessary.
Ability to playtest all wind instruments
Ability to discuss repair estimates with customers
