About the Role
We’re looking for a Body Movement & Wellness Guide who is passionate about helping people feel strong, capable, and connected to their bodies. This role is for someone who works with bodies of all kinds—all shapes, sizes, abilities, and identities—through movement, strength-building, functional fitness, flexibility, nutrition guidance, and other wellness practices that align with their training and credentials.
This position will focus on safe, affirming, and adaptive approaches to body wellness. Any specialized services requiring a license (such as massage or manual therapy) will only be provided if the applicant holds the proper Washington state licensing.
Responsibilities
- Provide licensed services or general movement and wellness support based on your expertise.
- Work with individuals to develop personalized strength, mobility, and wellness practices.
- Adapt approaches for all bodies, abilities, and comfort levels.
- Offer guidance in injury prevention, flexibility, and functional movement.
- Educate and empower individuals in developing body awareness and sustainable movement practices.
- Follow all Washington state laws and regulations regarding licensed health and wellness services.
