To apply we must either possess or be working towards the following criteria:
"Must have" a Washington State Barber or Cosmetologist license
Wants to: make MONEY, while working in a relaxing environment
Possess a strong ethical/moral compass and work ethic. Able to communicate in English clearly
Recognize the need to continually hone your craft and the client experience
Have basic tools, such as, shear, blow dryer, combs and brushes etc.
Clean professional appearance and dress(business casual dress code)
Enjoys engaging with people, has personal enthusiasm
Is interested in the small details that others ignore

What we provide
Expectations and goals that are clearly defined and attainable
Automated scheduling system, with reminders and follow up correspondence. Such as 24hr reminders for appointments and 4 week post service follow ups. These decrease missed appointments (lost $) and increases your client retention
Strong image and branding in our marketplace, highest ratings on Goggle, equals high request for our services. We routinely turn away over 60 people a month. New stylist will see ALL new clients as well any existing clients that wish to see another stylist in the salon when asked. On average you will have a full (80%+) schedule in 8-10 weeks. The owner is booked out 120% of capacity 5 weeks in advance and has had a 99%filled schedule for 4 years

Paid for external education (paid for the cost of a course, not the time, travel, food and stay. This is the employees time invested)
High PTO% (paid time off) for every 40 hours worked
Health insurance assistance (with qualifying plan)
30 minute Monthly massages
Hourly ($18-$60/HR) and or commission (45%-65%Highest in Seattle) DOE
Quarterly retention bonuses after 6 months
Full time position minimum is 32 hours, up to 40 available
Other duties required to perform and not limited to
Completing client transaction on tablets. Scheduling when necessary
General light duty dusting and cleaning, such as sweeping and laundry. Closing takes 5 minutes
Assisting other Barbers/Stylist when/if time allows
We do NOT answer phone calls or have a front desk to staff
100% scheduled appointments mean you know what your day looks like well in advance
