Roosters is seeking a Receptionist for busy men’s grooming salon
Roosters Men’s Grooming Center is different. Not a discount hair cutter. Not a sports or hipster themed barber shop. We are an upscale men's grooming center that delivers a customized, pampered experience through classic barbering services and products in a relaxing, comfortable environmentreaffirming what it means to look and feel like a 21st century man.
Our Green Lake Seattle location is seeking a receptionist interested in supporting our team and our guests during the busiest hours. This is a great opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our first class team.
The receptionist is responsible for answering the phone, booking appointments, and suggesting additional services such as shaves, beard trims, and waxing. As guests arrive, the receptionist greets and checks them in, ensures their comfort in the reception area, and assists in purchasing hair/beard care and shaving products. At the end of a service, the receptionist supports stylists in checking out guests utilizing our POS (point of sales) system and enrolling guests in our rewards program. This person will also keep the reception area clean and well stocked with refreshments, and help with laundering and folding towels.
The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive and friendly attitude, have a guest-first approach, be able to work efficiently under light supervision, and have excellent organizational and communication skills. This person will also have affinities for working with a POS system and recommending retail products. Previous salon experience is helpful but not required.
The receptionist schedule is a five day a week position:
Wed- Fri 12:30-6 Sat. 9-5 Sun 10-4:30 (approx. 33.5 hrs.)
