Responsibilities: The Data Scientist is responsible for improving internal data consumption through creating machine learning solutions and scalable data pipelines. Specific duties include: collaborating with product, operations, and company software engineering teams to identify analytical problems for customers; creating and managing predictive data models using machine learning techniques; evaluating models and deriving meaningful metrics; overseeing analytical projects for data collection necessitated by various company teams and departments and ensuring proper data identification, recording, transformation, and furnishment of data; identifying issues, inefficiencies and management objectives through data analysis; other duties as assigned.
Education: Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Science, or related quantitative discipline (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 6 months of experience in the job offered or related positions. Other special requirements include: 6 months of experience translating business needs into analytical frameworks; 6 months of experience writing complex, efficient, and eloquent SQL queries to extract data; 6 months of experience using statistical techniques such as causal inference and hypothesis testing to extract trends and measure impact; and 6 months of experience designing experiments and applying predictive models to inform product roadmaps.
Wage: $130,000 - $195,000 per year
