Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Elevator Equipment Estimator to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in preparing accurate cost estimates for elevator equipment installations and upgrades, ensuring bid deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
Review project plans and specifications to develop precise cost estimates.
Work closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to gather necessary information for quotes.
Maintain and update a database of cost information and historical data.
Assist in preparing proposals and competitive bids for potential projects.
Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to elevator systems.
Qualifications
Self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred: Minimum of two years of experience in estimating but not mandatory.
Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus.
Ability to review and interpret specifications and drawings is beneficial.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
