Assistant Business Manager needed for Apartment Communities located in Tacoma.We are looking for an outgoing, positive, team player with a "can do attitude" to join our growing team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Business Manager supports the Business Manger in ensuring that all functions at the apartment communities run smoothly and within the guidelines set. Maintain confidentiality with respect to residents, community business and fellow employees.Help coordinate marketing efforts, serve as the primary contact during the application process, and to all our residents.

MARKETING/LEASING & ADMINISTRATION:

Provide outstanding customer, professionalism, and exemplary communication. Answer telephone, set up market ready apartments, provide tours to prospective residents, process rental applications. You will be a big part of the team effort in achieving occupancy and lease up goals. Process and maintain rental documents, prepare proper notices and carry out the eviction process, rental receipts, resident relations and resident complaints. Complete monthly checklist items by deadline and any additional tasks assigned.Comply with all Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong organizational skills and ability to schedule tasks effectively

Good communicationskills - verbal and written, pleasant and businesslike

Demonstrated competency in basic office procedures and computer literacy

A problem solver; respond effectively to emergency situations

Ability to work in a stressful environment and meet deadlines

Must have and maintain a valid state driver license and insurance

AMSI experience preferred

PhysicalRequirements:Should be able conduct tours. Must be able to travel up and down stairs at the communities. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds in a variety of work situations. Must be able to reach, bend, and have a full range of motion.
