Miles Sand & Gravel Company has been a trusted name in the aggregate and concrete industry for over 80 years, and we are currently seeking a dependable, proactive Night/Weekend Security Officer to join our team. What You’ll Do:
Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, access controls), detecting and addressing anomalies.
Investigate and manage alarm events, dispatching security or emergency response personnel as needed.
Respond to incidents and escalate issues to appropriate internal or external stakeholders.
Follow established security procedures to coordinate with internal teams and initiate contact with appropriate emergency responders.
Summarize security alerts and provide actionable intelligence to management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
1+ years of experience in security or a similar role; SOC experience or industrial setting preferred.
Proficiency with security tools (surveillance, access control, and alarm software) and Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated, dependable, able to work independently, and manage priorities
Shifts include nights and weekends.
Honest, responsible, and trustworthy when handling confidential information.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to give and follow clear instructions.
Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
Ability to pass a background check with an emphasis on security.
High school diploma or GED required.
What We Offer:
$21.00 to 32.00 per hour.
