NVL Laboratories, Inc. is an Industrial Hygiene firm. We provide asbestos, lead and mold surveys; indoor air quality evaluations; occupational exposure monitoring; health and safety plans; and a variety of other industrial hygiene and environmental consulting services. We service the industrial hygiene & environmental health needs to multiple industry segments including Aerospace industries, general contractors, homeowners, property management, healthcare, commercial, industrial, retail, insurance providers, schools/universities, and government agencies.
Environmental Technicians are often responsible for performing on-site building inspections, material assessments, abatement oversight and additional related environmental consulting services. The position will involve preparation of written field reports and related documentation associated with asbestos, lead, industrial hygiene, and mold projects. The position will require travel to and from job locations in a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement included.

Requirements:
Verbal, written and interpersonal communication
Customer communication skills
Computer skills with the ability to learn new programs easily
Ability to lift 40 lbs. and pass annual physical and respirator fit test exams
Physical ability to climb, crawl and access a variety of different areas
Must be flexible with work hours as shifts will vary and available for night and weekend work, as needed. Out of town travel will occasionally be required.
Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record, auto insurance and reliable transportation
Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
