The talented individual we are seeking will have a great work ethic. The job itself is a bit unique in nature.
This individual will work for a few businesses that are all connected and owned by the same person. The one most well known is The Fremont Vintage Mall. In addition you will help with two street markets we run in the city. Sodo Flea Market and The Georgetown Flea.
The staging for all these businesses operates out a warehouse in Ballard. This position would be based out of that location. Duties would include driving a small box truck to fill inventory in the retail stores, Help set up and break down the street markets and help process incoming inventory in the warehouse.
Ideally this person will have an interest in vintage/antiques. They will like to do a variety of tasks. We seek an individual with white a collar mind with a blue collar work ethic.
Part of this position includes brawn. Some of the merchandise we deal with are heavy in nature, like furniture. Some of it needs to be cleaned, organized, and minor repairs made before it can hit the sales floor. We sell lots of vintage clothing so knowledge in this area is also helpful. This person will hopefully be familiar with merchandising, style and, have great customer service skills.
The other part of this position is helping set up our outdoor street markets that run throughout the year. This will require weekend work (Saturdays always).
We are offering part time employment but for the right candidate could move to a full time position
