Lucky Vintage Retail Team Member- P/T

Retail sales positions, 2-4 days a week, at our U-district, Ballard and/or Fremont locations (Seattle). Hourly wage is commensurate with experience.

Retail experience required; vintage and/or apparel retail experience preferred.

-Responsibilities & Qualifications

Customer Service:

-Self awareness and ability to engage with diverse communities (Lucky is a safe and welcoming space for all people)

-Attentive, friendly, customer-focused personality

-Provide knowledgeable information to customers about what vintage means and about the specific items for sale

-Ability to read customers/body language and adapt customer service approach to individual customers’ needs

Store Operations:

-Processing new inventory, steaming clothing

-Keeping the shop floor clean, organized and tidy

-Cash handling, using Square POS

-Maintaining our high standards for presentation of inventory

-Theft management

Merchandising & Marketing:

-Maintaining visual displays throughout the store

-Creating daily social media posts; staying on top of trends and suggesting new ideas for content

-Assisting with seasonal inventory changes/floor changes

General Skills:

-High attention to detail

-Time management, ability to prioritize tasks and self direct on a daily basis

-Good team member with an ability to give and receive constructive feedback

-Enthusiasm for continued learning and desire to further deepen existing knowledge of vintage and designer fashion

-Excellent communication skills

Requirements:

-Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably fashion retail

-Excellent people and customer service skills

-High level of attention to detail

-Ability to shift gears and multi-task when necessary

Wants:

-Similar industry experience - vintage, buy-sell-trade or consignment

-Fashion/vintage knowledge including ability to date items, identify fabrics, name common styles

-Knowledge of designer/luxury labels

-Hand sewing skills

-Enjoy working alone and as part of a team
