Craft Cannabis Retail Dispensary is looking for a full-time inventory specialist. Craft Cannabis is a fast-growing dispensary with five locations within WA State. We look for career minded staff that want to grow and move up with the company.

TO APPLY, you must meet minimum of at least 1 year inventory experience and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.

Applicants must be 21 years or older.

WAGES start at $18-$22 an hour DOE with bonus potential up to 25% of gross pay.

BENEFITS include two weeks of paid time off, health and dental 50% stipend after 1 year, 75% stipend after 2 years, 401k eligibility after 6 months of employment with up to a 3.5% match, and a generous employee discount program.

A bit about the job….

Inventory specialists oversee receiving, storing, auditing and distributing products. This position requires constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, reaching, crouching and climbing ladders. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Daily activities include but not limited to:

-Receive, count and verify product deliveries

-Organization of product in inventory

-Ensure all products are properly labeled/organized in appropriate locations

-Merchandise, maintain and organize retail displays

-Teach and guide sales staff on inventory lookup and new product education

-Notify the marketing team about new products coming into the store

-Educate staff about handling returned/defective products and tracking those products for proper data collection

-Log and process return manifests for Defective/Returned products

-Print, maintain and organize retail labels

-Oversee daily retail case audits performed by sales staff to ensure case label accuracy

-Management and organization of inventory documents on Microsoft One Drive

-Maintaining inventory accuracy by monitoring inventory loss rates through scheduled audits

-Notify Sales Manager on duty of any product anomalies (for example, 2 barcodes for one product)

-Attend inventory meetings

-Receive, fulfill, and complete online orders

-Additional occasional duties include answering incoming phone calls, helping customers and performing sales when needed

Responsibilities:

-Quickly and efficiently process incoming deliveries of product

-Verify bar-code functionality: Troubleshoot and resolve items that do not scan to assure accurate inventory counts and sales records.

-Correctly enter new products into the point of sale system per nomenclature protocol. (Posabit experience preferred.)

-Perform Cycle Counts of current inventory.

-Coordinate the return of expired or damaged merchandise to vendors

-Partner with Store Management, Sales, and Inventory Control Clerks to identify and resolve inventory issues which create inventory losses, accounting errors, and/or reduce back room efficiency

-Be able to carry up to 40 lbs

-Assist the General Manager in the creation of specific and measurable store level goals for shrink improvement.

-Inventory systems experience, and employment history favored over cannabis knowledge for this position.

-An aptitude for computer processing.

-Office 365 proficiency. Specifically, Excel experience.

-Self-starter, ability to work efficiently by yourself and be a team player who is open to feedback.

-Creative merchandising is a plus, not mandatory

-Strong verbal, communicating, and listening skills.
