Haselwood Auto Group is seeking an experienced and customer service minded individual to join our Parts Departments! The Parts Department Counterpersons ensure professional, friendly service is provided to dealership customers.
The Parts Department Counterpersons assist customers and employees to select required parts, pull and fills orders, and sets-up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up. They answer telephone calls and provide price quotes and assist outside sales representatives to fill their orders, ensure internal requests are billed on service repair orders, process payments and refunds for customers as well as maintaining records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order parts. They replenish inventory daily.
Our parts department shipping and receiving associates verify that parts delivery quantities match manufacture freight bill while insuring they are correct against the packing slips/invoices and inspect incoming freight for damage. Notify parts manager of any shortages of incoming freight or damaged freight.Keep orderly records of special order parts in process. Notify service advisors and techs for all completed special order parts orders. Stock all freight to the correct parts bin locations. IE: special order (front counter, back counter, and wholesale) and correct stocking bin locations. Fill all wholesale orders and work with dispatch and deliver drivers for prompt and accurate delivery to our customers. Assist front and back counter personnel with pulling and staging of customer orders and delivery of parts, while assisting service technicians and service advisors with availability quotes.Shuttle parts and accessories from the parts department to the technicians. Restocking of fast moving shelves on a daily basis. Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors as needed.
