Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Property Management Assistant to join our team. As a Property Management Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of managing properties efficiently and effectively. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the real estate industry, join a team that is rapidly growing and contribute to the success of our property management team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tenant Relations:

Assist in handling tenant inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Coordinate communication between tenants and property management team regarding lease agreements, maintenance issues, and other related matters.

Assist in resolving tenant disputes and conflicts as they arise.

2. Lease Administration:

Assist with lease preparation, renewal, and termination processes.

Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, tenant information, and rental payments.

Ensure compliance with lease terms and regulations.

3. Maintenance Coordination:

Coordinate maintenance and repair requests from tenants.

Communicate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to schedule and oversee property maintenance activities.

Assist in conducting periodic inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure adherence to quality standards.

4. Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support to the property management team, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.

Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.

Prepare and distribute notices, correspondence, and other relevant documents.

5. Property Marketing and Tenant Acquisition:

Assist in marketing vacant properties to attract potential tenants.

Schedule property viewings and coordinate the tenant application process.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in real estate or property management is a plus.

Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a related field preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Access to a vehicle for property visits.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.

Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and regulations, including Fair Housing Laws.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Compensation / Benefits: Position starts at $25+ depending on experience. Position includes full medical benefits.
