We are seeking an on-site resident manager (or couple) to oversee the day-to-day operations of a 51 unit apartment building in Queen Anne. As the On-Site Property Manager at the Del Roy Apartments, you will play a pivotal role in resident satisfaction and service. Your responsibilities will encompass leasing units, marketing, showing, and negotiating lease terms. In addition, you'll be responsible for routine building upkeep and basic maintenance, becoming the friendly "face" of the Del Roy Apartments and a representative of DARCO, Inc.
This building has 51 units and requires constant attention, availability, and maintenance. This position requires the manager(s) to live on-site. Because this is one of our largest buildings, it will need constant vigilance and a large amount of time spent on regular cleaning and upkeep.
Janitorial experience is greatly appreciated and will make you a very competitive candidate.
Key Responsibilities
It is imperative that applicants have knowledge of basic maintenance and repairs. There are many work orders that come in that need to be fulfilled in a correct and diligent manner
Manage the move-in/move-out process efficiently.
Conduct unit showings for potential residents.
Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the building, including routine cleaning of common areas.
Complete basic maintenance tasks when required.
Collect rent checks and make bank deposits.
Compensation
A 1-bedroom unit at a fair market rate.
A percentage of the building's rent income collected, your rent is often entirely covered by this amount.
Additional hourly rate for work during turnovers and work orders.
Work cell phones are provided for work-related calls and data usage.
Work Schedule
Must be available for emergencies
