Work in office at the firm’s building (this is NOT a remote position in any way, shape, or form).
Willing to work at the firm’s building even if all other team members are out of the office and not ask to leave because no one is there.
Willing to find tasks to do if office is quiet or administrative tasks have been completed.
Be on time to work (Hours 9 - 6 with half days on Fridays).
Able to answer the phone with confidence and not afraid of placing phone calls.
Able to take down phone messages and see that messages are provided to the appropriate person.
Able and willing to take and follow instructions from others (more than one person) in the office.
Able to type 50 WPM. (A typing test will be issued at time of interview).
Can write 2-3 sentence emails without errors or the need for proofreading by supervising staff.
Working knowledge of Word, Adobe, Office Outlook, and how, to work an Apple Phone. (Able to use these programs without further training).
General knowledge of a in-house postage meter or willing to learn how postage meter works.
Willing to learn three (3) other simple / user friendly software programs with training (Ring Central, Clio and Synology).
Other administrative tasks include but not limited to: keeping supply room tidy, shredding of sensitive documents, assuring conference room and common areas are tidy (firm has outside cleaning staff) willing to clean out office fridge on occasion, willing to take trash to dumpster, order supplies, check copier with regards to paper everyday, sort mail and on occasion run errands.
