Our firm designs, programs, and manufactures electrical and computer-based control systems and works on lots of interesting and unique projects throughout the Pacific Northwest, and the Office Support position plays a vital role in this.

The primary administrative tasks relate to Purchasing and Accounts Payable. Core Purchasing tasks include purchasing order entry, upkeep of order status, tracking receipt of inbound and outbound products. Core Accounts Payable tasks include billing data entry and discrepancy resolution, check runs and providing monthly accounting reports. In addition, this position encompasses many diverse responsibilities and opportunities to collaborate with other team members, which makes for an interesting and rewarding workday.

Essential personal characteristics for this role are high integrity, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail. You will love working with us if you are a self-starter who takes ownership of assigned projects and actively seeks to improve ongoing objectives, enjoy working independently and as a team member to complete a project, and are quick to enjoy the humor present in day-to-day life.

Required pre-existing technical skillsets include MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Verbal and Written Communication Skills. Preferred technical skillsets include Quickbooks accounting software or equivalent, Adobe/Nitro PDF creation and multiline phone lines.

Experiences that will contribute to success in this position include Purchasing (place orders, monitor due dates, etc.), Accounting services (receivables/payables), General office, Inventory Management, Customer-facing positions, Marketing (brochure development, sales development) and other work that requires one to manage an administrative process successfully over time.
