Kitsap Tennis and Athletic Center is a membership based nonprofit organization whose purpose is to provide for the health and wellness of youth, individuals, families, and community by providing recreation, education, physical fitness, and character development through racquet sports, aquatics, and fitness.
Position Description
The Member Services/Front Desk person is responsible for member satisfaction, member retention, communication, retail operation. This position reports to the General Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Membership satisfaction including creating a positive, friendly and welcoming environment
Member service, checking in, reserving courts and classes
Selling of retail products, drinks, snacks, racquet sales, stringing and tennis balls.
Recording sales on account, credit card and cash
Coordinate scheduling for social play for Tennis
New member sales
Work collaboratively with other staff and departments
Communicate with the members through email and website submissions
Light cleaning duties to keep the Front Desk tidy and neat. This is the 1st impression to members
Qualifications
Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications especially excel, word and publisher a plus
Sales experience helpful
Motivated to create new ideas and promotions, self-starter
Customer Service/ tennis experience helpful but not required.
Requirements
Must have a valid and current ID.
CPR/AED Classes within 30 days of employment
High School Diploma/GED
Must be at least 18 years old.
Pass a background check.
Must be able to learn our POS system.
