Events Administrator

What does the Events Administrator do?
In brief, the administrator will monitor, improve and execute operational and administrative functions within various event divisions of our organization. You’ll use your detail and organizational skills to provide exceptional customer service to our clientele, and enhance the services we offer our clients.
And help to ensure that management's goals and projects are met in a timely manner. Propose areas for efficiency improvement and procedural "gap-filling" through documentation and application of technology. As training progresses, you’ll learn to conduct soft sales conversations with clientele and effective negotiation and execution of contracts.

Qualifications, Education, And/Or Experience:
4+ years of operational, sales management, project management, administrative, or related business experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Management, Project Management, or a similar area of study
Creative ideas on how to grow corporate business through advertising, marketing, and networking
Knowledge of the event and/or hospitality industry at a professional level
Intermediate comfort level with social media platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Access)
Familiarity with SmartSheet and Salesforce is a plus
Bookkeeping and/or accounting exposure
Must show initiative and the ability to work with little supervision
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
This is a full-time, salaried exempt position. Must have open availability and be able to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends when requested. You must have open availability in January and June, and extended hours will be required during the months of January and June, or around seasonal deadlines.
