POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for performing dispatch and operations support activities, including the following responsibilities:
Exceptional time management skills
Answer multiple phone lines
Record and fill all customer work orders in a timely manner
Assign flaggers to work orders to maximize coverage and optimize cost, labor and equipment efficiencies.
Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with fellow employees.
Ensure that all signage and other equipment requirements are satisfied for each job.
Provide quality service to all customers; respond to all customer questions and complaints in a timely and
professional manner. Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all customers.
Maintain accurate dispatch and employee attendance records
Provide management with weekly dispatch and/or other reports as required
Ensure compliance with all State, Federal, and Local safety laws, ordinances and policies
Contribute to proper and timely information flow between departments and outside the organization.
Have a comprehensive understanding of the company's overall operations and be an effective member of the
team
Maintain company records and files in a timely, accurate and organized manner.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies
-Proven experience as Dispatcher or relevant position
-Excellent computer skills including accurate and fast data entry
-Ability to follow procedures and guidelines for emergency situations
-Proficient in English (oral and written)
-Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
-Active listener with excellent communication skills
-Sound judgement and critical thinking
-Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel
-Ability to learn Dispatch software

-Time Management skills
Required Education and Experience
-Must be 18 years of age or older.
-High school diploma or GED.
-Minimum five (5) years related work experience preferred.
-Must meet the company guidelines for work-related driving.
-Successful completion of drug test.
-Successful completion of background screen.
