WORK SCHEDULE: This position is full-time regular and exempt and requires the ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed, as well as being On-Call in the event of emergencies.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for executing maintenance and upkeep of equipment, buildings, vehicles, and other agency facilities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prioritize maintenance and repair work tickets & projects, including but not limited to building and appliance repairs, general plumbing, light electrical, sheet rock repair, texture matching, and painting. Ensure compliance with federal and local health and safety standards.

Ensures accuracy and timely completion/approval of all facilities paperwork including but not limited to invoices, and vendor agreements.

Assess, and determine the need for preventative maintenance and repairs in conjunction with and under the direction of the Facilities Director.

Transport vehicles as needed, including 15-passenger vans.

Perform monthly safety inspection & meeting.

Perform regular and emergency repairs as required within local and state health, fire, and safety codes.

Make regular inspection of properties and equipment and determine the need for repairs and specialized maintenance.

For repairs and/or construction requiring specialized skills, work with Facilities Director to provide supervision of project and coordination with program schedule.

Supervise craftsman, volunteers, additional maintenance personnel, contract, and temporary maintenance staff, and/or interns, making repairs on facilities.

Ensure a regular maintenance schedule is kept on agency vehicles.

Coordinate the agency’s safety committee and support program site safety meetings.

Investigate and resolve maintenance issues and concerns in a timely manner.

Ensure each assigned job area is cleaned after completion.

Keep key & fob distribution list.

Reliably attend and contribute to training and development as needed for your role and the needs of our Agency as a whole such as program requirements, DEI&J, supervision and others as identified.
