Job Summary
The Shipping Lead is primarily responsible for Shipping LTL freight for light industrial machines, Shipping experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred.
Our customers are the government, hospitals, schools, fire departments, dental offices, etc.
The ideal candidate should have extensive shipping and receiving experience. Experience boxing and crating to prevent damage to product. Forklift experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Shipping LTL, UPS, FEDEX
2. Quote shipping rates
3. Complete bills of lading
4. Boxing and crating of equipment for customers
5. Review and assemble kits and items for customers
6. Operates small crane, pallet jack and forklift
8. Create and/or maintain build logs, databases, and other records.
9. Completes miscellaneous task as required.
10. Provides backup support to receiving department when required.
11. Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Lifts up to 65 lbs without assistance.
