Evelinka Puppets is a small company located in Georgetown Seattle WA
The company mainly make custom made puppets.
The materials that are used are fleece, fur, foam and stuffing
The company recently relocated from NY and is looking to fill some positions.
Responsibilities and Duties
The main part of the job will be to assist the puppet maker in creating the puppets.
Cutting, gluing, stuffing, sewing by hand and sewing on sewing machines.
Keeping the studio organized and tidy
Quality control packing and shipping.
We are seeking a sewer crafter to join our team to assist in making custom made puppets. A successful candidate should have excellent sewing on machines skills and know well how to stich by hand. Strong organizational skills. Must be able to speak, and comprehend English.
A steady hand for cutting fabric and cutting accuracy, be a team player and able to work well alone as well as with others.
Compensation: $20-$25 depending on skills and experience
employment type: part-time contract
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:
10 + hours per week Monday-Friday with flexible start times and schedule days/schedule to be determined upon hire

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have experience using a sewing machines
Must have good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
Follow established patterns and specifications,
Follow established processes and procedures
. Use handheld hardware and tools as necessary.
Maintain well-organized and clean shared work spaces.
Assist with facility cleaning.
Capable of working with heavy fabric and hardware
