We are looking for hardworking, strong, reliable, dependable, loyal and dedicated individual to join our production and warehouse team. We promote within the department depending on individual to take the initiatives and work performance.

General Qualifications:

Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English for performing daily duties, including oral and written work instructions. ( ability to speak, write and read Spanish with English - BIG PLUS.

Physically able to stand for 10 12 hours a day.

Adhere to strict start and end times so production can start and end on time.

Assist with production during changeovers and startup process.

Disassemble/assemble machines and parts for cleaning. Cleaning and Sanitizing the equipment.

Oversee, lead and be hands on with the Production, cleaning and sanitization.

Great at communicating.

Able to lift 50 lbs bags and ability to assist unload floor-loaded containers and stack on pallets. ( if necessary)

Proven record of strong work ethic.

Be a team player, work independently with little or no supervision, and be of an assistance were needed and to others.

1-3 years of food production or manufacturing plant experience - PREFERRED but not required.

Reliable transportation required (not bus accessible )

Dependable, Honest and Loyal person.

Paid Training is available when necessary.

Able to train others and be a mentor to others in the production and warehouse area.

Adhere to strict cleanliness, Personal Hygiene, and Food Safety guidelines in the warehouse and production area.

Clean and sanitize processing/packaging equipment and the plant environment in accordance with the sanitation schedule SOP and SSOP procedures.

Properly sanitize plant equipment and environment following SSOP procedures in order to reduce and/or eliminate product contamination.

Follow lockout/tag out safety procedures and follow all safety guidelines; ability to learn technical aspects of equipment; be able to use the proper sanitizer for cleaning equipment.

Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Cleaning and sweeping the warehouse regularly and making sure the warehouse is kept neat and clean for food production.

Receives and unloads incoming materials, compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify the accuracy of shipment, and may process return shipments from customers.

Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.

Experience with forklift or Forklift certified (BIG PLUS).

Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.

Ability to count numbers, read, write and do calculations using calculator.

Follows established departmental policies, procedures, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.

Able to work in a team environment and individually without supervision.

Operated warehouse equipment with caution and according to manufacturer instructions to reduce risk of accidents and malfunctions.

Prepared products for packaging and shipping according to company specifications.

Unloaded merchandise from delivery trucks quickly and efficiently.

Attended company safety meetings to maintain knowledge of new and important information.

Mentored newly hired employees on warehouse safety procedures and demonstrated proper operation of tools to

Avoid mishaps.

Fulfilled orders quickly to accomplish challenging daily objectives.

Picked products from designated locations using various tools and transferred to appropriate areas for further processing.

Confirmed items picked for orders

Delegated tasks to employees and monitored accurate and timely completion of tasks to meet project milestones.

Monitored equipment, checked supplies and coordinated manpower to meet expected demand.

Established and updated production schedules to meet changing demands.

Conducted performance reviews to identify and rectify areas for skill improvement.

Reviewed individual employee performance to correct issues and enhance productivity.

Issued work orders for repairs to plan maintenance of equipment, machinery and vehicles.

Recommended and implemented measures to improve production methods and quality of products.

Provided input for performance reviews and identified areas for additional improvement.

Monitored manufacturing, variances to improve quality while resolving product process and equipment problems.

Supported safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on use of control points, equipment and resources.

Completed production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, revising schedules, and establishing priorities.

Oversaw continuous improvement initiatives in lean environment to drive gains in quality, flow and output.

Set up, adjusted, and maintained machines to operate at peak levels and meet challenging demands.

Supported safety programs to reduce and eliminate employee injuries.

Reviewed job specifications to properly set up machines.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Physical requirements include visual accuracy, hearing, speaking, stopping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, extended standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, grasping, manual dexterity, repetitive motion, carrying, and the ability to lift 50-pound bags.

Work Environment includes :

Personal Protective Equipment includes safety glasses, respiratory protection sometimes, hearing protection, gloves, hairnet, beard net, hard hats, steel toe shoes working coats provided at site.

Hours of Work: 8 am to 5:00 Monday to Friday. Overtime and Weekends per the business needs.

Education/Experience/Special Skills/Certifications:

1-2 years' experience in machine operation in a food manufacturing helpful and a BIG PLUS.

Forklift Certified - IS A BIG PLUS.

High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience. Associate Degree in Manufacturing is a BIG PLUS.
