JOB TITLE: PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR
SCHEDULE: Mon Fri, 6:00 am 2:30 pm
The following is a summary of the position: You will be responsible for operating hydraulic CNC controlled Amada press brakes on a daily basis in a precision sheet metal fabrication facility called Metal Werks, Inc located in Marysville, WA. You may occasionally be required to assist other operators as a helper on key work or machines as needed. This is a cross-functional position within the Fabrication department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Set up and operate Amada CNC press brake
2. Select correct tooling for the job with setup documents
3. Load, install and correctly set up the tools required.
4. Read blue print and work order instructions
5. Safely operate a forklift
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have strong metal forming and basic fabrication background.
2. Minimum 2 years experience as press brake operator
3. Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints
8. Ability to operate a forklift.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 - 50 lbs. frequently.
2. Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.
3. Sit, stand and walk for 1 10 hours per day.
4. Ability to work in a 55 - 88 degree Fahrenheit work environment.
