PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER I: Under direct supervision, perform basic and routine electro-mechanical assembly operations. Use tools such as drills, soldering guns, screwdrivers, measuring instruments, and other hand tools. Follow verbal and written instructions such as drawings, assembly layouts, sketches and work instructions in completing highly repetitive tasks.
MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER II: Under minimal supervision, exhibit skills in all pre-requisites for Mechanical Assembler I plus: Ability to perform a wider variety, more complex assembly and sub-assembly tasks. Demonstrate ability to organize and set up work area to maximize efficiency and quality. Perform quality checks. May perform conformal coating.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with co-workers and engineering and management staff.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. In this role, the employee will frequently use hands for tasks like handling and reaching. Sitting, standing, and walking are regular requirements. Specific vision abilities include close, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and focus adjustments. Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds may be necessary. The work environment generally has moderate noise levels.
Physical Required: Physician’s signature required – must be able to wear respirator for some tasks.
BENEFITS:
Salary range: $16.50/hr to $26/hr, plus overtime as needed
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills, and experience

Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm or 3:00pm – 11:30pm
