PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Material handler is responsible for safe handling of materials and goods. Primary job functions are kitting work orders, prepping parts, handing inventory, cycle counting inventory and other tasks as needed.
Role Requirements:
Must be able to read and comprehend and follow English written work instructions
Able to communicate effectively in English, any other language is a bonus and welcomed
Be comfortable using computers
A bonus would be to have a beginner’s knowledge of the following applications:
o Microsoft Excel
o Microsoft Outlook email
Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Abe to work in a group and team environment
Work with or without direct supervision – be self-motivated
Exhibit critical thinking and attention to detail.
Excellent attendance record.
Desire to learn new computer programs and machines. Below is a list of some that you will learn:
o Automated parts retrieval systems
o X-Ray parts counting system
What you will learn:
The person taking the role of a Material Handler will learn all aspects of the department from receiving to kitting and releasing WO’s to the production floor. The many systems include Aptean ERP system, using Access databases daily to perform job duties, Microsoft Excel and Outlook. You will also learn to use our new and advanced technology storage systems such as Juki, Modula and Visiconsult X-ray parts counter. Not only will you learn to use the machine you will get an understanding of how all the systems work together.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and engineering and management staff.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

BENEFITS:
Salary range: $17/hr to $26/hr, plus overtime as needed
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills, and experience

Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm or 3:00pm – 11:30pm
