Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing firm, is seeking an Equipment Repair and Service Technician for a client in Kirkland, WA. The client specializes in nails, staples, and tools for construction and industrial fastening.
Position Overview: The Equipment Repair and Service Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment such as pressure washers, lawn mowers, and tractors, focusing on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
Carry out full-service tune-ups, including compression tests, oil changes, and filter replacements.
Diagnose and repair electric, pneumatic, and gasoline-powered equipment.
Work with brands like Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, STIHL, Honda, and Echo.
Maintain equipment to meet manufacturer specifications.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Keep the workspace clean and organized.
Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and parts.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or as a Millwright.
Experience with 2-Stroke, 4-Stroke, Small Engines, Walk-Behind, and Riding Lawn Mowers.
Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
High school diploma and technical certification.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in equipment repair or related field.
Experience with a wide range of equipment, including agricultural machinery.
