Henrybuilt is seeking a full-time CNC Team Lead for our Seattle design and manufacturing operation, producing an innovative product and creating a respected international brand.
The primary job of the area lead is to deliver high quality product, safely, in the shortest time possible. Responsibilities are centered in the lead's primary area, but they are also responsible for working effectively with other leads and teams to enable flow, quality, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Job responsibilities and expectations:
Provide support, direction, training and guidance - inclusive of problem solving of daily issues - while maintaining a positive/motivating attitude
Drive and support continuous improvement within the area and team
Ensure operators adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures/drawings, and safety guidelines, creating a safe working environment
Primary requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing lead/supervisor role
Strong goal orientation and drive to produce exceptional quality
A focus on being accountable for results and proven ability to excel
Excellent communication skills
Disciplined approach and ownership of prescribed maintenance routines. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly
Ability to lift 50lb repeatedly and be mobile all day
Preferred skills:
Experience operating a CNC, cutting wood products
Ability to read and interpret drawings and product specifications
Experience in researching new technology and tooling solutions that improve quality and capacity
