Roberts Precision Machine is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. We are a shop that embraces technology with the collective experience of over 100 years of innovation in the industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production meets quality standards and deadlines.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.

Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accuracy in machine processes.

Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.

Correctly use bore gauges and other measuring instruments to inspect finished products for adherence to specifications.

Collaborate with us to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.

Accurately document production records, including part counts, machine logs, and quality control data

Meticulous, detailed, initiative-taking, and self-motivated. Ability to stay on task and keep busy.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.

Experience

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in operating CNC milling machines.

Strong understanding of power tools, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.

Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.

Knowledge of machining principles, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting techniques.

Versatility across multiple machine centers is a plus
