Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints to understand the machinery and systems in place.

Installing new production equipment and ensuring its proper setup and integration into manufacturing processes.

Conducting regular servicing and maintenance of equipment, including motors, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines to preemptively identify potential issues.

Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.

Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools to ensure optimal operation.

Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Performing routine maintenance and safety checks in compliance with OSHA standards and regulations.

Communicating effectively with the production team to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.

Preparing and submitting detailed maintenance reports, documenting actions taken and recommending further improvements.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education, Experience and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent

At least two years of related experience Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Ability to trouble shoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues

Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

Electrical control systems experience: relays, contactors, VFD, PLC

General metal fabrication

MIG and or TIG welding

Lean manufacturing / TPM (Total Production Maintenance)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted and > 40 pounds with assistance

Ability to operate in confined spaces

Comfortable with heights from 10” to 20”

Committed to the use of PPE as applicable
