Job Summary
The Assembly Technician 1 is primarily responsible for assisting with fluid and electrical sub assemblies for light industrial machines.
Our customers are the government, hospitals, schools, fire departments, dental offices, etc.
The ideal candidate should have some experience with small tools, drills, wiring, etc. The job requires some understanding of instructions, (most instructions are simple and easy to follow). The Assembler will complete wiring harnesses, fluid assemblies, and other components. Training is provided. The work is light duty and most assemblies weigh less than 5 lbs.
Responsibilities:
1. Assembles machine parts for the manufacture of industrial equipment.
2. Tests and adjusts newly manufactured equipment as necessary.
3. Operates power tools.
4. Create and/or maintain build logs, databases, and other records.
5. Preps small electronics and components. Operates soldering iron, wire crimper & wire stripper.
6. Completes miscellaneous task as required.
7. Provides backup support to shipping department when required.
8. Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Lifts up to 35 lbs without assistance.
